Deer Bait

Baiting for deer in Alabama has become an issue. If 2 people are sitting in a stand and their is bait in sight, or within 100 yards then BOTH hunters must have a $15.00 bait privilege permit It does not matter age, sex, creed, or whatever. This was a legislative action that politicians wanted more of the citizens hard working money.

Our elected officials have made it to the point where a poor man can’t hunt anymore. After paying dues for hunting clubs, buying groceries for the camp, gas, guns, ammo, camouflage, deer stands, and finally corn, there is little money left. Let’s not forget the 10 cent gas tax that was voted on without our vote. Hunting is becoming a rich mans sport very quickly.
